we're a week old already. i can't beleive it! Lige is breastfeeding like a champ though i have to wake him up sometimes. my engorgement is finally gone. Thank god. OUch!!!!! On a side note. If anyone has milk supply issues like i do, they put me on an herbal tincture called "Goats Rue". It's awesome and i have more milk than i know what to do with. He reached his birth weight 2 days after we got home from the hospital.
He is the most content baby i've ever had. We cosleep and baby wear. He pretty much never cries and is sleeping 4 hour stretches at night. His daddy is completely in love.
I finally took him to see my parents yesterday for the first time. (some may remember that they wanted me to have an abortion early on) It was emotional and difficult but they have apologized and said that they were angry and being unreasonable.
We think we have found a house. Going to give it a final once over on monday and then we'll bring in an inspector. 4500 square feet brick colonial that is bank owned. It also has a 4 car detached garage for my studio work. I'm so excited! All the kids will have their own rooms finally!!!! I'll try to post more.
I apologize for my absence. things should settle down soon though.
