Okay - so I now know that we have some talented women on this board where it comes to decorating and ....a decorator I am not so I come to you all seeking advice. I'm having a really hard time deciding what color to paint the walls and trim for the nursery. The furniture that we have is antiqued or weathered black (the weathering is kind of brown) and a photo of the bedding is below. I did get most of the accessories that are shown as well. I thought about doing a light sage on the walls but was told that that would "take away from the pink/brown contrast of the bedding." oooookaaaay.....sooooooo... then I contemplated a VERY pale pink as I don't want it to look like a bottle of Pepto Bismol exploded in her room either. I'm really up in the air with the wall color. A good friend (who typically has great taste) dropped by today and I showed her the room. She suggested I paint the baseboards black since the furniture is black. I just don't see me loving that. I was thinking maybe an ivory but she insists that it would look great. I'm WAAAAY confused. Suggestions anyone?? Please??
