Icon6 Hot Saturday Night Date (1st trip to L&D)
So this morning I woke to a migraine and spent much of the day in bed. I ended up feeling better & getting out of bed around 1 (so thankful DH was home today).
Anyway a couple of hours later I noticed quite a bit of spotting so I called just in case. Of course she wanted me to come in just to get checked out.
I figured it could be a uti or something and if it was I would want to know so of course I went it.
Well everything looks fine. Interestingly they did see a few contractions but nothing consistent or worth worrying about. And the spotting has stopped.
Unfortunately they had to do a speculum exam & cultures etc (didn't want that) but what can you do...
Anyway, not much to report but at least I got to see where I will be delivering & the nurses were AWESOME! The nurses are kind of more important than the doctors since you see them so much more.
So that was our hot Saturday night date. All's well that ends well.

It is better to be safe than sorry, and at least you got a chance to see how great the nurse staff is (silver lining, right!). I'm glad you precious baby girl is doing well and that you are home (hopefully taking it easy) on your special Mother's Day.

Oh Arwen, I'm glad your home and everything is fine! When will you get the results back from the cultures and etc? I'm glad you like the hospital and nurses! You are RIGHT about the nurses too, lol. Usually they are there the entire time and the doc comes in to "catch" the baby! @@ Take it easy and try to rest
