in a blink of an eye
No matter how "long" pregnancy seems or how "forever" those newborn days can feel, it really is over in the blink of an eye.
Today, I celebrated my first baby's 11th birthday!  I am still sitting here in shock that 11 years has gone by that quickly. Of course, I have been teasing him all day that he's not REALLY 11 until 1123pm but I think that that's more so *I* can deny it a bit longer.
