Okay...On July 4th, I woke up at 8;30am and went to the bathroom. I wiped and looked (like we all do this late in our pregnancies, just hoping to see SOMETHING) and woohoo!! I seen blood and um...stuff. haha. Okay so I go and wake up DH and said I think we might have the baby today...and hes like for real? gets up but I tell him to go back to bed because I didnt want to jump the gun. So basically we sit around all day...until about 5:00 pm because my contractions were basically around 7-10 minutes apart all day, and I finally call my OB. He said because this is my 3rd child and because my second came really fast it would be better if I came in and got checked out. So we took Everything with us (minus the kitchen sink-just in case I got admitted) and away we went. So I get there and they check me and hook me up. I am 3.5 to 4 minute contractions and I was 2-3ish centimetres dialated. So my OB said he wasnt gonna let me go home anyways because of the "progress". Woohoo! Baby Day!! So to move things along...he broke my water and said we would see how that went b4 we decided to do pitocen or anything. He eventually did start it slowly at around 8 pm (half a milliunit) and then I got my epidural (yay!! THANK HEAVEN) and was told to go to bed. (That was at 3 am and I was only 3 cm dialated) so we slept and got woken up at 7 am, by my OB and a nurse, saying Youre fully dialated! Time to Push! (we were so not awake at all!) and I could NOT feel my legs whatsoever!! So the doctor left the room and my nurse said lets do a practise push....so I did and all of a sudden I heard my DH say "theres a head!" and the nurse said "DR! Get in here!!" and she said go ahead and finish pushing...so I did and he came out!!! and Jamison Alexander was born at 7;16 am weighing at exactly 7 lbs and 20.5 inches long, wailing his little lungs out! I started crying, my DH was overjoyed and it all happened so fast! It was by far the most easiest labor I had to go through ever.....and now my DH says he wants another one! haha! Hes been the perfect most loving, caring, and helpful dad and DH ever and I would even consider doing it all again ...

and so...he was a perfect baby all day.....content and happy....but decided to keep me up until 4am last night. Other than that hes been nursing like crazy...which I've been called an expert at by the nurses! yay! such a nice compliment! And when we left the hospital, Baby Jamison actually gained 0.1 oz instead of losing! So everyone is happy and healthy!
