Icon5 Back sleeping question

Ok, FIRST of all I have to tell you girls I can't find my adaptor the lets me put pics on my computer, so that's why I haven't posted the nursery pics yet!! Boo! I'm going to look extra hard today for it.

Next, does anyone else find it very difficult to NOT sleep on your back during pregnancy? I have the Snoogle pillow which is great, but somehow I ALWAYS end up on my back at some point, and I get so stressed out about it!! Help!

I find I wake up on my back all the time. I just roll back over and go back to sleep. I think it's bound to happen due to the change in our bodies, so try not stress about it.

Yes and it's making me nuts.
I am a back sleeper normally and it's really uncomfy for me to sleep on my left side so I have to sleep on my right all night and it ends up killing my hip so I wake up a bunch.
I bought a full-body pregnancy pillow but it would wrench my neck so I have resorted to using separate pillows...one behind my back so I don't roll all the way on my back...one between my legs and one under my hip.
Poor DH, it's a good thing we have a king-sized bed, but I still feel like we don't have enough room for all the pillows.

I sleep on my back, and am not worried about it. By the time it's 'bad' to do it is way too uncomfortable anyway. At that point when you are on your back it is so hard to breathe that you dont stay there long. I wouldnt worry about it.

I'm on my sides all day long now (in the bed), and at night, I just crave to get in a different position. Something I've found that helps me sort of sleep on my back is to take an extra pillow or two and wedge it in behind my back. That way, I'm kind of angled off my side, but I'm getting some back support and can relax.

Also, having to go in to the specialists for u/s and all that now all the time, I end up spending plenty of time on my back on their "tables". I think being on your back for a little couldn't hurt. I keep hearing conflicting info about the back vs. side thing. . . I had a sonographer tell me that it's really not so dangerous. And the nurses while I was in the hospital didn't seem to think it weird.

Anybody got any definitive info about this issue?

It's actually incredibly uncomfortable for me to sleep on my back. I just keep switching sides during the night.

I wake up in the night on my back. And I just turn on my side, whether it be left or right. Sometimes, my right side is more comfy.
