I had a regular OB visit today. Ya know -the urine sample, weight check, "howyabeendoin'" and heart rate routine. Well - my doctor said it looks like my "days are numbered." I have severe edema (everywhere) and there has been protein in my urine for the past three visits. I told him how I've been feeling latetly. My bp isn't up too much but he said that "everything is going in that direction." Dh asked if it would be safe to play in a golf tournament next weekend out of town and doc said "not unless she has the baby before you go". He even gave me his personal cell phone number to call him on Saturday if I need him since he's taking himself off of the call list for the weekend. (He's a friend/collegue of dh.) He said that if I come back in next Monday looking the way I did today that he's admitting me but in the meantime I'm supposed to BE STILL. WTH! As miserable as I am - this soooooooo does NOT fit into my plan !!!

Aww Brandy it is okay! You want to do what is right for the baby but I hate it when it doesn't fit in the plan! Don't your boys have baseball playoffs or tournaments too? I thought you had said it was around this time.
Your little princess is just preparing the family for her arrival. You knwo that little girl is going to have your DH and boys wrapped around her finger, so she is just letting them know now it will be her way or no way! LOL!

Aww, sorry you have to keep still. Just make sure to get plenty of good high-protein food, lots of water, and take a bath in epsom salts It can really help with the swelling. Hope ya get to feeling better.
