You call this spring?!?!

We are in another winter storm watch (tomorrow-saturday). So far they say to expect AT LEAST a half of foot. OMFG!

Last storm we got 14 inches and that was around April 1st (it was suppose to be only 5-8 inches of snow total). Last weekend up north got nailed by 2-3 feet of the crap. Im glad we missed that one.

Everytime the snow completely melts, we get hit by another storm. This is going to be time #4. So back to the drawing board again for the snow melting.

Btw, Im up in MN.

Mother Nature sure has a grudge for MN this year. The temps haven't been springy either. Average now is 55, but we have been in the 30's and 40's (but yes with a few 50's, but only a few).

I can totally relate with you..... we have had a rough winter too this year!! All the snow FINALLY melted here, so hopefully we wont get any more of it! We are In NH....

Rachel. I'm convinced MN is on an April Fools acid trip when it comes to you guys up there.

I know it's not funny, especially with kids going stir crazy to get outdoors and mommies needing them to be able to burn off their energy.

Oh, wow! I can't even imagine! I was just complaining yesterday because the temperature was 82 here and it's getting hot already. I can not even imagine how much hotter it will be by June! However, I have to admit I am glad it is not a foot of snow instead! Hope it clears out for you soon!

Lurking...but Rachel, I am in Minnesota too...just east of Fargo about an hour and we got the two feet of snow last weekend! And now more! I teach and my kids have prom this weekend! I seriously think I might go into depression if this continues...how am I suppose to get excited for a May baby when I have to deal with this crap!

Another UPDATE>>>>>>
Heres the breakdown of this lovely storm that is going to hit us hard....
*Half an inch of rain for today.
*12 TO 15 INCHES... WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS... IS EXPECTED BY LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.
*Then ANOTHER 2-4 INCHES Saturday.

Im down in Wilmar.
Prom and snow do not mix. That just sucks. Those poor kids. Ours is late April/early May. It changes back and forth. Can't remember which it is this year. But all of the 10 years Ive known dh, I don't remember his birthday with snow. His b-day is the 14th and Im sure we will still have this crap on the ground then. Im already in the depression.

My Grandma lives on the Range, so she got nailed last weekend. She was not happy. For this storm I live south enough so it should stay as rain till around noon tomorrow. I really hope that this is the last one, I want spring to arrive. DH put crabgrass preventer down so it should soak in good. I just looked outside and it has now started. Time to wait and see what happens.

Its been raining and sleeting off an on since noon. And the winds are just nasty and will be getting worse. Travel is going to be impossible (like they are already saying) later when the snow comes. Im sure the warning will become a blizzard later on tonight/tomorrow.

Lurking here, but I feel so sorry for you all in MN and out that way. I am in Wisconsin and man if that would have moved east a bit, I think they would need to put me in a padded cell!!

I have had ENOUGH!!! I hope it melts quickly for you all.

I see my Northern friends in WI are getting some mixed precip. Hang in there girls!!! Mother Nature is just playing games with us.

I'm south of you in IA, and we are in the 30's with sleet/rain. We had ONE nice day where it was 66, and two of the kids were sick with some stomach bug so we werent able to enjoy it at all, and the next day when they were filling better... well it was just like today, rainy, and cold.

It feels like fall, its cold, gloomy. I hope we don't get any snow. My youngest has her birthday next week and I've told her all winter she's born in the Spring... she is still waiting for spring to arrive.
