Ok...so here's my still pregnant positive thread.

I was just getting out of the shower last night when my DH got home. He came in and said I needed to come look at something now. He didn't even want to wait for me to dry off... I stepped out of the bathroom and looked on our bed. People from work had sent home diapers as a baby gift! Huggies & Pampers Swaddlers... How cool is that? Of course, they're all sposies, but I honestly wasn't planning to do all cloth right at first anyway. Now I can focus my attention on buying cloth since we're good for a little while (of course they don't last long) on disposables. He came home with 172 newborns, 156 size 1's, and a friend sent home a box of 116 size 2's last week. There was also a box of wipes and a tube of diaper cream. We only had about 135 or so dipes (NB & sz 1) until this...and my CD covers are smalls (no newborns), so I knew those wouldn't contain everything at the very beginning.

Anyway...what a blessing!

How thoughtful of them to do that. Now you need someone *hint hint baby* to fill them all up. Can never go wrong with diapers.

Arwen - I've only been a PT CD'er so far. Don't be too in awe of me. Had we not just gotten our new washer/dryer, which is much faster & efficient, CD'ing would have been next to nil since I was always up to my armpits in laundry with my crew. Now I actually stay on top of it pretty well...so might as well have a cute, fluffy baby butt sometimes and save some moula in the process.

Rachel - Just had another decent ctx...keep sending those hints, will ya?

What a great gift! And so thoughtful! We aren't going to start cloth for a few weeks either, learning how to do all the other mom stuff will be hard enough at first for me!

We haven't been doing much cloth around here either. I had bought a single package of newborn sposies to use since I knew dh wouldn't do my cloth diaper laundry properly and I didn't want to mess with laundry while healing from my c/s. We went through that pack in 2 days! I've used cloth for a day and a half total and only because Aubrey's little bottom was so red. I'm probably going to continue using sposies for a little while longer - the newborn sized diapers are a pain. I have a ton of small fuzzibunz and I think I'm just going to wait until she fits into those to transition back into cloth.
