Default What do you know about pre e

I think i have it because of symptoms i have read online.
I am still waiting from a call from my midwife to see when to come it.
I have had swelling in my feet on and off. I have had high blood pressure one visit and now i have a dull ache on my right side. I am really scared because it is another symptom.

I am afraid they will put my in the hospital tonight. We will see what they say at the doctors.
I am also afraid i will be considered high risk and wont be able to have her naturally and will get stuck in labor and delivery.
Anyone else ever had pre e?

Well i feel a bit relieved. the nurse called me back and thinks it is just a pulled muscle.
She said there are other things are are more major when it comes to pre eclampsia like high blood pressure and i dont have that right now.
She said i probably twisted it wrong or picked up my daughter wrong.
I will try not to pick her up anymore. She weighs almost 40 lbs.

I feel better now. but i do need to take it easy.

You are lifting your 40lb daughter? Yeah, I'd say that could be an issue. My BP is up a tiny bit and my feet/hands are swollen. The big thing to watch for are headaches that don't go away with tylenol and LOTS of swelling immediately.

Glad it was nothing. It's great that you're monitoring yourself though. Hope you feel better!!!

it's definitely good that you're on the look out for stuff...it can get kind of scary sometimes though

Sadie weighs around 40lbs? I can't hardly carry Lina anymore and she's only around 28 1/2lbs...lol

Wow, I would have never guessed Sadie to weigh almost 40 either. I try to lug Ava around she's in the early 30's, but many times, she just has to walk until I can be sitting to hold her. Glad your MW called you back and doesn't think it's PE. I would agree that persistent HBP and headaches accompanied with the sudden onset of swelling that doesn't completely go away overnight (while resting) would be more of an indicator, although I know someone on here had it without all the symptoms.
