Can we take it? I think my dr told me before we could- just wanted to ask because I have some but I wanted to check and see what everyone thought before I took some tonight...

I loooooove Unisom It was the only thing that helped my morning sickness and I have taken it on and off since about 10 weeks. Make sure you get the right kind though, there are two different ingredients. I take half of one of the blue pills. I have insomnia on top of feeling sick so it was really great for me, especially when my kids had rotavirus and kept waking up puking - I have puke phobia so this was the only way I could get any sleep in the month of December while it was going on, otherwise I would lay in bed and have panic attacks.

Yes, Unisom is perfectly safe. It is on my list from my doc. Like Monica said, it has to be the Unisom Tabs. (They are small blue oval tablets) I take a half of one when I am having trouble sleeping and it does wonders for me. I hope you can get some rest.

Unisom and Benadryl are perfectly safe to take if you can't sleep. I would try one or both of these (alternating nights) before Ambien.
