Well, my little one has decided she was tired of standing on her head and has turned breech as well. Explains those bladder jabs. All looks good. She is doing her practice breathing, moving around well. I even could see her opening and closing her eyes. Fluid levels are fine and she is showing to weigh appx 5# 3oz, with 6 weeks to delivery. I however had gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Trying to think if I had some extra sodium yesterday to explain that. I certainly haven't been overeating. Oh well. My BP was good again today. The doc says that due to my BP issues, however, the baby's weight/growth should begin to slow down in another few weeks, so I don't have to worry that she will be huge. Got my that we don't go over 8 1/2 pounds with this one.
Oh no, she' doing jumping jacks now. Sorry she has turned breech. Sounds like she is doing well otherwise.

Sounds like a good appt. overall! Since you're having a scheduled section, I'm guessing you're not too worried about her turning breech? (Not that she doesn't still have time to move back, of course.)

I'm glad that she looks healthy, I wouldn't wory too much about her being breech or big for that matter with a scheduled c-sec.
congrats on the good bp and I hope that all continues to go well for you!
Breylan was 8 lbs 15oz and natural delivery. I was surprised.

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
I'm not sweating the breech part - other than my constant "ouches" which freak DH out - from the kicks to the bladder and cervix. LOL I mostly hope she slows down on the weight gain, just because I've always had an easy recovery from my c-sections and have always had babies no bigger than about 7 1/2 pounds to carry around. I attribute that to the reason for things going smoothly. I guess from what my first OB said about the stress of carrying (in your arms) a heavy baby and the pulling on the tummy.
Out of curiosity, did they say that Preston is measuring big by any chance? You are due the same time as me and at my u/s on Friday they said Cohen was about 4 lbs 10 oz and is measuring 11 days ahead of schedule. It sounds like Preston is a bit bigger than him so I was wondering what they thought.
Oh, and don't worry too much though because, like I've said, Kylie was 9 lbs 7 oz at birth and my c-section recovery was still fairly easy.
At my last appt, he said she was measuring about 2 weeks ahead in growth, so I'm assuming that hold true still. He told me last time that he expected to see about a pound and a half increase by this appt - and that's about what she was. At this point he said she should slow down to about 1/2 pound per week till the end and could even slow more than that, due to my having to treat my BP with meds. He said pregnancy induced hypertension will cause the placenta to start "wearing out"/ being less efficient toward the end. That is why I am having weekly BPPs (biophysical profiles) to keep an eye on things. If her growth takes a sharp decline or her activity or fluid levels decrease significantly, I could have to have my c-section earlier than the scheduled date.
