40 weeks by u/s and 41 weeks + according to LMP...

At this rate I'm hoping for a July 4th baby. I get to see the MW on Tuesday so maybe she can induce me on Thurs night or Fri morn. If they say no then I'm going to start drinking the castor oil cocktail and make myself go into labor.

The only labor symptoms I have so far are an achy back when standing for too long, an achy crotch and loose stools. No BHs at all!

Sorry. Sucks doesn't it (btdt). KL has to come out sometime or another (willing or not). I hope you get a surprise before your appt tho. The end is very near even tho it doesn't seem like it.

I woke up thinking about you today...Hoping you were having you baby right now...I know its so frustrating. with Logan (my 2 year old and first child) I didnt have any sign of labour at all and was induced 9 days past my edd. It really sucks and they were they worst 9 days of my life. I know its not what you want to hear but all i can say is its ALMOST over.

I'm still here and symptomless!

I was scared to death that she was going to come early and now I'm scared to death that she'll never come. Ha! I haven't had my membranes stripped because I've been closed at the top of my cervix but dilated just a fingertip at the opening.

Apparently she's going to take after her mama cuz I'm late to everything. LOL! My dh is always at least 5 min early or right on time.

I haven't had one ctx all day so I don't think anything will happen today. Tomorrow we're getting new windows installed so by Murphy's Law tomorrow should be the day.

You and I are in the same boat, sistah! I haven't had bloody show either, and my BH ctx aren't doing anything. Had my membranes stripped but still nor spotting or stronger ctx. I am hoping I won't make it to my appt on Tues either!

My sister told me that the day before she had her latest one she didn't think she would ever go into labor and was not having any sxs, so that is all I am hanging on too! Tomorrow is 2 of my SIL's b-days and one of their anniversaries, so I would really NOT like to have my baby tomorrow, but it prob will come then, just b/c that is the only day I don't want it to!

This is why I hate 'due dates'--they are plus or minus 2 weeks, so you get all down and depressed around "the date" when nothing happens! And then you have TWO WEEKS to go until you're officially "overdue"!! I'm sorry... nothing I say can make you feel better, so no words of comfort here.

Honestly, if there are "no words of comfort" that you can add then why even post anything?

I'm not a moron. I know that a "due date" is an estimate at best. Still this is my forum to vent and to maybe gain some words of compassion and encouragement. The intent of my original post was to get my feelings out in the open and not to hear that I still have up to 2 weeks before I should feel frustrated. I have the right to feel frustrated and fed up NOW.

Thanks to all the ladies who have sympathized with my situation and let me know that they have been in my shoes before. I appreciate your words of encouragement.
