so after waiting most of the day to hear from my dr's office about the results of my 1hr GTT, I called them about 2 hrs ago. The nurse said, "well, we usually have the results back in a day...you haven't been called yet?....well, I'll look into it and give you a call back." So 2 hrs later and 10 minutes before I was going to call again, she called. She said the results came back normal....Yay!!

Yeah- congrats!

They call you if there is a problem at mine too. If you passed then they talk about it at your next visit- but I called to ask the mw about the 32 week u/s scheduling, and she happened to answer the phone, and told me while I was on the phone. She said- oh! I just signed off on your results....so that was nice! I like her A LOT. She is so sweet and I often talk to her because she is sometimes the person answering when you press the button for scheduling appointments. LOL It's nice to get to speak to your caregiver= it doesn't often happen that they answer the phone! I think since she just started in December, she doesn't have a big load of patients yet. Also, she said the office as a whole doesn't since there is one doctor and one mw. Although she did say in his whole career, he has delivered over 7000 babies! That is so many! She told me they have maybe 4-5 deliveries a month I think so it isn't like a baby mill, and they get burned out because they are delivering 3-4 a week with the long nights, etc. I think that is why l like the small practices. Yes- there are good and bad things about that but it is so personal. And she actually spends more than 5 minutes talking to you! lol

Ok- that is OT and I am rambling today!~
