Boy do I feel good!!!! There was no cure for what ailed me like giving birth! Induction was flawless and positively, 100% meant to be and the absolute right decision. My labor lasted 2 hours and that includes the pitocin being shut off twice and waiting at 10 cms for 10 mins for the doctor. The nurse checked me at one point and said "you're at 7 1/2, no, at 8, wait, 9, now you're complete." I couldn't believe it, neither could she. I would have never made it to the hospital in time, plus I have GBS so they needed to get the antibiotcs in me before baby came - as it was she only did one bag.
So.....just incase anyone is curious.....we had a baby GIRL!!!!!!!!
We are absolutely over the moon, we could not be happier! Stats:
Amanda Marie
Born 5/18/08 (at 38 weeks)
11:33 am
8 lbs, 4 oz, 19 3/4 " long
She is gorgeous and looks just like both of her brothers.
I am still in the hospital and on a dial-up connection so I'll try to post pics when I get home.
And can I just say again, MAN do I feel soooooo much better.....it was worth it but I am so glad I will never ever ever be pregnant again

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
