Finally! I never nested with Kate and actually felt so stinkin' lazy that I was useless. But now, I think Jenn's nesting spirit has invaded my body and I am getting tons done!

First of all, my mom came over yesterday and today. She sat in the same room with me and entertained Kate and I got my sitting room cleaned out and vacuumed. Then we ate lunch, Kate napped, and we watched All My Children. =) Then when Kate woke up and had a bottle we went into the guest bedroom and I got it ALMOST all cleaned out. I threw away tons of stuff and organized a bunch of others. I sorted through piles of clothes to give away. I still have some stuff to do but it's basically almost empty. I am hoping to finish it on Sunday so we can start taping it up to paint. For the record, Kate is moving to a big sister room and the baby will get the nursery (which is gender neutral).

I also decided (after pulling out the bedding today) that I want to paint the bottom of the walls a light green and the top pink. I am hoping DH will agree to putting a chair rail up. I am so in love with pink and green and I think it's a great compliment to the bedding. Here's the bedding

I am utterly exhausted but I hope the nesting vibes stay until I am done. I am terrible about finishing projects!

Ava's room is pink and green; but I did the walls solid green - because I knew I wouldn't get a chair rail up and I accented with pink in her curtains and such. Love the bedding!

I have had days of nesting like that and gotten someone to watch Ava so I could accomplish something. Mine has come in spurts of a day or two each week - which works out good, since I can only get help a couple of days a week with her; and there is NO getting anything done with her here, unless I stay up late to do it - which I have a couple of times just to put finishing touches on rooms. I'm loving it too and hope to have everything done and organized before the end of next month so I can just enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.

I saw that bedding when I was looking around one day. It is so cute. Your nursery is going to be adorable!

I wish I can get some energy. I have been so laazzzy. Maybe it's the winter blues. I hope it goes away soon so I can get some stuff done!

That's great! I can't believe how many of you are already nesting. I'm not even close, lol! I'm sure dh will be thrilled when I am at that point though. My house will probably thank me too!
