...that my church held for me and another new mom (with her second adorable 1mo baby girl), turned out really nice!

The tables were all full, lunch was great, cake was adorable & yummy, decorations were very much "a certain color" (IFyaKWIM), and people I haven't even gotten to know yet were so gracious...I was beyond humbled and felt so cared about at my first-ever pregnant baby shower. I honestly was grateful just having others eager to celebrate this upcoming time with me...but it was beyond that. I'm just amazed! And let's just say this little baby will be very well-dressed for the summer and writing my thank-you cards will be a long process (not complaining!)...

My mom came (and little girls, too) and took some pics with her camera so I don't have any on me; however, if/when she sends some, I'll share a couple...along with more details...on the PB. I'll probably take a couple of "cute loot" pics of my own to share as well.

I'm so glad things went well for you! That was so sweet of your congregation to go all out to make you feel special for this upcoming event. When my church threw me one with Ava, I was very surprised; primarily because the people that organized it, were the younger members that I hardly knew at all. But it was all their idea. I've since become very close to those young moms, whose children are just a little older than Ava.

Can't wait to see some "cute loot" shots. I'm sure it was a great day for you. Glad your mom got to come. Congrats!

I'm glad that the shower went well and that everyone was so sweet! It sounds like the baby will be decked out and looking good!

I had my 1st-ever-pregnant baby shower Saturday too and uploaded pictures to photobucket and was planning to post them earlier but photobucket is being a pain with sizing the pictures again so it will have to wait. I will say that I got TONS of clothes too and spent the majority of the day washing and drying/folding/hanging those today and I'm STILL not done! I am not complaining either though! I can't believe how cute some of the boys' clothes are now. They've come a long way over the years!
