So heres what I look like now.... are you sure this is normal??? I am in serious pain!!! it hurts to press down on my leg... and in some spots it sometimes feels like pins and needles when I press on it...
Now the swelling has moved above my knee, and into the back of my upper leg...
OMGL Girl!!! What do your Dr's say about how bad the swelling is? My first thought when I see that much swelling is pre-e!
I am so sorry that you are in so much pain, I can only immagine, I wish there was something I could do to help you!
Someone else mentioned it is more of a concern if it is also in your face and hands. I think I remember that. Try drinking some water and putting your feet up= if you can! I know that's hard with kids running around. They definitely look worse than the earlier pictures. Call and ask the Dr- maybe they have suggestions.

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
I have no clue about swelling but to me it doesn't look right. A friend of mine had HELLP, which is a dangerous form of pre-e, and I think she had swelling right before her emergency c-section. I know she was in a lot of pain.
Good luck, I am so sorry you are miserable

I only had terrible swelling with my second, and my feet and legs were huge, to the point no shoes I had fit by the end of the day. I remember the swelling hurting, but not bad pain. I am glad you called the doctor. Let us know what they say!
I'm not kidding - those ankles still look slim and trim compared to mine with Ava. I have small bones and really small ankles typically. The last month with Ava I had triple rolls around my ankles. I was so swollen the rolls were sagging - it looked kind of like hose that are too big and start to get baggy around your ankles....except it was my skin - so gross.
If your doc isn't worried, I wouldn't worry too much either.

What time is your appt tomorrow? Can you take the pics or the camera to show your doc what you endured today, just in case they are relatively smaller tomorrow when you go in? If you can, I would definitely do that. Do you see a sensible doctor tomorrow or the lunatic you saw a couple of days ago? I hope it's one with some sense and you can possibly get into L&D tomorrow and stop this nonsense.
I wish I had my pics from my PG with Isabella, like Ashlee mine were worse than that if that is believable to you at this moment. I mean they looked morbidly obese and something from a sci-fi movie. Someone else mentioned they could wear shoes.....I lived in flip flops that even dug into my gross feet.
I am sorry you are so uncomfrtable. That truly is sucky
My appt is at 2:30pm tomorrow. The oncall OB was the one from Monday that sent me home and told me to come back tomorrow. The OB I see tomorrow is nice... I have seen her more often during this pregnancy. I will take my camera tomorrow just incase.
The swelling goes all the way up the back of my leg, and above the back of my knee. My upper legs look HORRIBLE. I even feel a litte heaviness in my cheeks and around my upper mouth too.. like under my nose area. Will be interesting to see what I look like come tomorrow morning....
my SO's Gram took the boys overnight until my dr's appt tomorrow.... so I will get to relax before my appt.
I am wondering if this is onset of Pre-e. I was diagnosed with it at 37 weeks with Gavinn. My previous 24 hr collect my protein was 167.... this time it was 209. My visit yesterday I had +1 protein. The swelling in my legs wasn't as bad yesterday, and it has just been increasing as time goes on. My Bp this morning was 171/109.. and has been running 150/100's (low 100's) today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will go in tomorrow and they will tell me enough is enough... it is what it is, let's just end this thing now. All indicates pre-e... why keep testing me for it when I have SO MANY symptoms of it right now. I am 36 weeks... he would be ok if he were born now. I am truly going to ask about it tomorrow. I will probably start crying and she will think I am a baby, but enough is enough already!!!
Your feet are too swollen, IMO. It is reallllly bad if your face starts to get swollen. I ama glad you are going in tomorrow. That is too much too fast. right now, I think you are fine but I also think it might be time for that baby to come out.
I am so sorry you are crying. I would be too

Good luck tomorrow. Your feet and ankles remind me of how I looked after my c-section with DD. I hope that your Dr. can give you some good advice and not the run around.
Can you get Jay to take pics of your legs tonight, so they can see how far up it goes? If so, I would definitely do that. It's possible that even if the swelling goes down overnight, it could be starting back up by the time you have your appt, but still may not be as bad as it is right now. So I'd be prepared to give them a view of what it was like, so they won't think you are just "overreacting or exagerating". You know how docs can be. Glad you don't have the jacka$$ doc tomorrow. Thanks for keeping us posted on everything. Hope tomorrow is the end of the suffering and the beginning of the joy for you.
OMGosh Im in tears just looking at those. You poor thing. Hope you get some answers tomorrow.

I will definately have him do that Shannon... thanks for all your suggestions. And thanks for your concern too =) I just checked my BP one last time before bed and it's 160/102, after all my meds in which I took them at 8pm. This just aggrivates me... earlier today in the bath I told the dr I saw spots (like fireflies) because he specifically asked me about it... and he still didnt feel I needed to be seen.
I feel so spineless, but seriously I am not leaving until I get some answers tomorrow. Everything points to pre-e... and while my protein count might not be above 300+ it still is higher than my previous count. Damn, you would think at this point they would just end this nonsense. I am so frusterated and exhausted by this whole thing... I just want it over now.
Anyways thanks for listening to me whine... thanks for all your thoughts, advice and input. And don't be suprised if you see more pics tomorrow... because if things continue to progress like they have been, I will probably wake up blown up like a balloon.
I'm so sorry you are going through this! It has to be miserable. I will pray for you that tomorrow you'll get to hear what you've wanted to for so long now...that they're going to go ahead and deliver Ryann. I believe it's definitely time and that he would do fine now.
I'm wishing you all the best and that you'll finally get relief from all of this crud.

Good luck tomorrow. Your feet and ankles remind me of how I looked after my c-section with DD. I hope that your Dr. can give you some good advice and not the run around.
This is what I was going to say as well. I did not have that kind of swelling during pregnancy but I did have very similar swelling after my c-section and was told it was normal after surgery. Dh had swelling after his hernia repair surgery last month as well.
Now as far as whether it is normal during pregnancy...I don't know. It doesn't look normal to me but what do I know? I hope you are taken seriously and your concerns are addressed when you see your OB later! I can only imagine how miserable you are!!! Let us know how it goes!
