My very last OB appt is tomorrow, then I go in for induction on Sunday. I am beyond shocked that I have made it this far!! I am also hoping and praying that I go into labor on my own so I don't have to be induced, I don't like the idea of induction - but of course I will do it anyway if I have to. I'm kinda down right now, it was a rough day with my sick kids, playing nurse to them while I myself am sick too. I would really like to not be pregnant anymore. And for them to be frigging healthy for once, ug!!!
I'll update when I come home from the dr, but I don't expect any change - I was last seen on Friday so only 5 days ago. Appt is at 11:20 am, wish me luck!! How great would it be if she was like wow, you are in labor, walk yourself across the street to the hospital and check in! LOL.

Have you every been induced before? From what i remember you haven't. Do you know what method they use on you? Pitocin or Cervidel , or something else? I had the cervidel, and honestly for me being induced was awesome, everything went really smoothly, and pretty quick too (but i was 9 days past my edd).

Anyway, hope it all turns out they way you want!

You're right around the bend now! I hope you/your kids start feeling better first. That's always so hard. My Kiley was sick when I went in to have Ellie and leaving her for the first time ever right then was so difficult for me. Fortunately, she was ok and we all survived. Somehow it all works out.

Tomorrow must be appt day; I see my MW in the morning as long as her very overdue mama doesn't need her first.

No, I have not been induced before. Well, actually kind of - with my first, my water broke and labor started but my contractions weren't regular so they put me on pitocin. It was great, only took a couple hours after that With my second, I had pre-term labor so no induction was necessary, my body took care of it by itself. I had lots of contractions today, probably from taking care of the kids, but my OB just called and said her husband got stuck in Chicago tonight (meaning she doesn't have a sitter if I go into labor) so I need to cross my legs until tomorrow morning when they go to school

LOL Hopefuly it all works out for you and your OB LOL!!! I had to be induced the first time, my water broke and I didn't ever start labor on my own, it wasn't that bad but I did end up with a c-sec because of the cord being wrapped around her neck and that made it so she couldn't make me dialate properly.

I have a feeling that things will be great for you and I can't wait to hear all the details and see pix of what I guess will be a princess? I will be just as happy to see another prince on here! I never get tired of seeing baby bellies or babies!!

I had to be induced with DD, and I didn't want it either I was really worried about it, but it was a really good experience, My labor was only 7 hours from first contraction to baby out and that included over an hour of pushing!! But I understand wanting to go on your own too, I'm hoping for that this time around too!!

She is inducing me early for a bunch of reasons, one of them being that I am dilating and progressing and they consider 37 weeks to be full term so any time after that, they will do it. I hate to sound all Hollywood, but part of it is for ease of scheduling, for her and for me. Like I said, I don't want it but will take it. I have large, early babies so this is getting scary to me....I'm not a huge person and would prefer not to be ruined for life "down there." I have been trying sex, raspberry leaf tea, oregano, you name it, I've tried it....

Yeah- it is weird though- you are already dilating...just a bit slowly. I would keep doing what you are doing though. Your body is getting ready though. It's not like you are at 0.

That's right- you do have some good sized kids at birth from what you said. Hopefully things will happen on their own before Sunday. If not- you will probably go fast anyway since you are already almost halfway.

Last appointment!! That's crazy, I have two left and am so nervous about that, I can only imagine how nervous one appointment is for you! I hope the induction on Sunday goes well and that you are progressing well on your own before then!
