Hi Baby Boy! Sorry, I didn't get any pictures, but I did get to see him. The doc that did my "big" ultrasound at OSU OB recommended that I get monthly u/s. I wasn't sure if they would start this week or around week 28, so I was pleasantly surprised when they took me back to the u/s room when I went to my appointment today.
Doc said that he looks good. He was head down during the appointment. It was weird having her scroll up above my belly button so she could get a look. This was my 4th u/s this pregnancy and everything has been below the navel, so it just took me back a minute to realize how far along I really am. She measured him and he is just under 50th-percentile for weight. Head measured big and tummy and femur measured pretty close to right on (figures, huh?

). I didn't pay attention too much to the exact dates, I was just relieved that she said all looked good. I figure he'll change a lot more in the next few months.
I go back on March 10th for my reg. appointment and get an u/s then too. I have to do my glucose test then. I don't like that one.
But then after that appoinment I start going every 2 weeks. Is that the normal time or another one of those "you're older than dirt so we'll monitor you more closely" things? It just seems early to be starting every two weeks.
At 32 weeks, I start going weekly for non-stress test - which I know is an age thing.
Anyway, I was thrilled to see baby boy again and excited that I had a good appointment. Thanks for listening to me ramble about the appointment!
p.s. Maybe it was because I wasn't sure I was having an u/s this time around, but for the first time I didn't get nervous or worked up before an appointment.

The last u/s I didn't sleep the night before, woke up, threw up, cried and then finally went to the appointment. It is amazing how reassuring these kicks are! :thumb
