My 11 yr old accidentally elbowed me pretty hard in the stomach. So my ob/gyn sent me to the hospital. They checked me out and did an ultrasound and all is well with both babies.
My stomache still hurts though, then I thought about it, well the ultrasound tech did have to go over the part i got hit on my stomach with the ultrasou8nd wand. So hopefully she just irritated my stomach a little in that spot. She said everything looked good, placentas, fluid level, babies heartbeats and movement. So I am pretty sure its all good or they would not have sent me home I am sure.
They seem to snuggle with each other in the past 2 ultrasounds, they were head to head positioned at the 17 1/2 week ultrasound.
I am 2 days away from being 21 weeks and they were face to face , one was trying to touch the others face and they appeared to the ultrasound tech to be snuggling with one another. She confirmed as the ultrasound tech at my ob/gyn's office they are both in their own sac and with their own placenta. She said they appear to be fraternal. However they seem to really like each other and try to stay close to one another. Seem to be acting sweet to each other too!! aww!
We rented a multiples in the womb dvd the other day and it showed fraternal twins kicking each other in the head and all! wow!
Mine seem to be fairly kind to one another though! Hope they get along well outside the womb as well. Maybe they will always be sweet to each other throughout their lives. That will be nice when they are in the terrible 2's and 3's.. being courteous to each other will make it easier on me!! yay!
These were taken last night at the hospital when they checked to make sure everything was alright after haley whacked me in the belly... They were facing one another and cuddling... trying to touch one another.
She got a better shot of Baby A, Baby B's was a lil blurry the way she printed it. She said baby B is set back further and baby A is more up front as well. The ultrasound machine they had there was really nice and the heartbeats were real loud and clear on it when she turned them on.
