my name is jenn... and i was on the TTC/IVF board orginally.

i decided to finally come out of hiding

i am 34 and my dh is 32... i have a beautiful DD who is 10 and i am 17 weeks 4 days pregnant.... we found out yesterday that we are having a girl!!!!

we also found out yesterday that my scheduled c-section will be on june 17th!!!!! all my integrated bloodwork along with the NT scan are normal... what a stressful wait that was!

i am not good at waiting... and very good at stressing... the combination didn't work out so well!!!! i am so happy that wait is over and things are normal!!!

i had my DD when she was 34 weeks due to toxemia... so they are going to watch me closely... she was also breech which is why i am going to do another c-section...

do any of you still have bleeding gums? my mouth is horrible... gums are bleeding and bleeding when i brush and that thingy (no clue what it is called) that is behind your 2 front teeth (a part of your gums... kind of like a little line) is so swollen... doesn't hurt... just swollen... that is my only complaint

a few migraines here and there... other than that... i feel perfect!

Welcome to DIJune! Glad you are jumping in and joining in the fun here. Sounds like you and I may be due about the same time. I will also have a repeat c-section early, just don't know how soon yet. My doc doesn't like to do boys any earlier than 1 week - to avoid respiratory problems. But my daughter was born 2 weeks before her due date in 05.

I feel your pain with the migraine thing. I had one 2 days ago that put me in bed all day. Yesterday started with a headache, but I was able to knock that one out with OTC meds since it hit me at 3:20 am and I could go back to sleep. But this morning I have another headache - 3rd day in a row. Although this one doesn't feel like a migraine, it's still irritating to have a 3rd headache that is being stubborn.

I know you already have your schedule date, but could you give me your actual EDD so I can add you to that board. We will be adding scheduled c-section/delivery dates later on. Thanks!

Hey Jenn!!! I remember you from the IVF board. It feels good to be one of the many "success" stories. Congrats! And kudos for making the brave move to join the DIJ forum. I know how comfortable it is to stay on the same forum, but the ladies here are wonderful, just like on the IVF board. Plus it's fun to compare notes with people that are going through the same things as you.

Anyhow, hope to see you around here more!

Welcome and congratulations! You and I are due the same day. I also will be having a c-section before my due date. The way the dr. makes it sound it will be sometime between June 17 and June 21 but I am secretly hoping to get her to go as early as June 14. No reason for that day except it falls on a weekend which would mean more time off for dh to be with this baby. I told dh that I would love for it to be on June 13 but that's a Friday the 13th and dh got weird about it. And he has always claimed he's not the superstitious type. Oh, well.

I am so jealous that you know what you are having already! I have to wait till 20 weeks along before they do u/s at my clinic. So I have to wait till Feb. 8 for my "big" u/s. I know it will be here before I know it but it seems so far away!

Okay, sorry for the book. Glad you decided to join us!

I have the same problems with migrains and bleeding gumms my teeth get horrible durring pregnancy because I get HG and all the throwing up makes my teeth so much worse and it doesn't help that I crave lemons LOL!!

anyway congrats on your baby girl!! hooray! I have my U/S on 2/8 hopefully I will join the pink team too!!

Tasha- I didn't know that June 13th is Friday the 13th! Actually June 13th was my grandfather's birthday...and the last u/s just said the due date is June 13th- but I am keeping June 12th lol it is JUST a DAY! It won't always fall on Friday the 13th- but it would be a neat birthday I think! June 21st is my dad's birthday and June 17th is our anniversary- so we have lots going on in JUNE this year! My babies always wait until near the due date to be born so who knows when this one will come.

June 2nd is my friend's bday and her dh's is June 10th. I think June 8th would be a good day! Keiran's last day of school is the 5th or 6th I think so that would be perfect! I would hate to have him miss his last day of school- those are usually the FUN days!

Actually= I don't care WHEN the baby comes as long as it isn't before 37 weeks, and the baby is healthy. Don't remind me I said this when I am complaining at 9 months that the baby isn't HERE yet! lol I am ok with being pregnant as long as it takes this time because it is the last...and I might be miserable but I will enjoy it since I can never be pregnant again after June! lol BUT PLEASE don't remind me! lol
