Had my baby!
Baby Sam was born just after midnight on Saturday. We went in late Friday afternoon for the scheduled induction. The nurse started a pitocin drip. It took a few hours before that started to kick in. Once it did, everything went very fast. My water broke, I got my epidural, and dilated from 2 cm to 8 cm all in the space of one hour. Gotta say, I love epidurals. All in all it was an easy labor, lasting about 6 hours from the start of the induction to finish.
Sam weighed 8 pounds 0 ounces at birth, and is already back up to his birth weight. His length is 20 1/2 inches.
