Well, after I posted about still cramping and everything last night and finally got off the computer I went to the bathroom. I had some brown, stringy clots. Now I don't know if that was normal stuff just from the internal yesterday and me overdoing things or if I may have possibly lost my mucous plug??? I've never lost my mucous plug before so I'm not sure.
Well, the cramping started getting worse and worse and I really thought I was going into labor. How ironic would that be after my dr. had just told me I had nothing going on down there and that she didn't forsee baby coming before my scheduled c-section date. I woke dh up and told him that I was still hurting and cramping and now having blood clots. I told him I was going to take a bath and then see if I could get some sleep. I figured if I could sleep then I would and, if not, then a trip to L&D was necessary. I took the bath which helped some and then layed down. I couldn't sleep right away but finally did fall asleep around 4:30 a.m.
Today the bleeding and cramping are gone and baby is kicking away as though nothing ever happened so I guess it was a false alarm (which is good since I am really not ready for him to come just yet, no matter how miserable I am!) I am not feeling 100% today but nothing else is going on. I am definitely keeping an eye on things just in case though.
I can't believe that an internal exam that was really quick and painless would cause that much to happen! It never did with Kylie and the ones with her usually weren't as quick and easy either. I just said I'd be here till June either way and then I have a false alarm! I still think he will make it till my c-section date but he definitely had me doubting that for a second there.
Oh, and for those of you who know more...
did an internal ever cause clots for you guys or does it sound like I possibly lost my mucous plug? I have no idea since I've never really dealt with either.
Oh, and Kylie is really grating on my nerves today and I am sure it's just because I'm tired and grouchy. I feel bad about it.
