How long did you ladies end up having to wait for your amnio results? Does your count include weekends? Thanks. Just trying to figure out when I might expect to get my call. I'm hoping it comes this coming week.

I am pretty sure mine took almost 2 calendar weeks. It was a long time. If I wanted results sooner, I could have had them for a $300 charge not covered by insurance. Funny thing was I actually had to call to get the results myself, this happened the last time too. I called with a question and then she said oh, I have your results right here on my desk. Only life altering information, no rush!!!!! Geez.

Mine was 8 calendar days. I hope you get them soon! I'd expect a call BY Friday. If you expect it sooner, it will seem like the wait is SOOOO long.

Thanks so much! Just wondering if you all counted weekends too. With Ava my wait was 10 days (12 if you count the weekends) and my doc said the results seemed to be coming back faster now than they did 2 1/2 years ago.

Yes, I counted the weekend. I had the test on the morning of Jan 3 and got a call in the afternoon of Jan 11.
