Default Diapering essentials

Did you guys stock up on the (sposie) diapers already? I'm thinking of waiting for those until the last minute. I remember with DS I bought them early which made me look at them all the time because they were so tiny and cute and I wanted my baby NOW.

I'm not doing cloth; not at first anyway.

I have 2 packs of preemies and 2 packs of newborns. I won't open any of them until Presley arrives to see if she will even need the preemies at all. Ava wore them for about 2-3 weeks - even though she was 7# 10 oz. The newborns just swallowed her tiny bottom up and I had to almost overlap the tabs. I only bought these because I had coupons that were going to expire and Ava was into wearing pull-ups, so I didn't want them to go to waste. I will possibly buy a couple of more newborn packs between now and the time she arrives, just because, again I have coupons for $2 off per pack.

We have about 4 bags of diapers so far, unless my mom has gotten more. I am really hoping that the cheaper brands work well so we can save on money. We have a few different brands at this point.

I'm doing cloth but I've been stocking up on newborn and small sizes and getting them washed and prepped this week.

Its never too early to stock up on diapers.
A couple newborn and a few sz1.

I just love how small they are. And you totally forget that some babies drown in those sizes too.

OMG I love the smell of swaddlers. I have to take a sniff of the little tiny newborn ones each time I go into the babies room and look at how tiny they are. Isbella was in preemie diapers for like 2 months. She was a peanut till this winter. She suddenly sprouted

I bought a box of 216 size 1-2 Swaddlers...at Sams Club they were only $40-ish and in Canada diapers are CRAZY expensive!!! I have some newborn sizes left over from Katie, being 8lbs 11oz she didn't wear them long at all!

I have bought 1 pack of size 1 diapers and 1 pack of size 2 diapers. Kylie was big at birth and wasn't in size 1 long and never was in newborn sizes so I am not even bothering with those unless I have to. I would like to stock up on more but am waiting till after my baby shower to see if I get a bunch of those or not first.

I haven't personally bought any diapers but I have gotten some as a gift, I request pampers! I have a pack of 80 size N, 84size 1, and a big box (216) of size 1-2. I will not be buying any until I have to after she is born!
