Boy what a night!
I thought maybe it was a full moon last night, but alas no. This little girl was all over the place all night long! She kicked and poked and rolled and stretched. Everytime I would find a comfy position and it seemed she had settled down, she would stretch and push against the mattress and I would have to roll to my back. I ended up just semi-propping one hip to keep myself from being flat on my back, but she was just not having me be on either side last night. LOL That was the most activity for an extended amount of time that I've had so far. I even dreamed I was holding her and she was doing all that squirming in my arms, it was such a big bunch of movement.
Anyone else having busy nights?

Re: Boy what a night!
Every night Ryann is like that. I think because we are at rest, they are awake. When we are up and about during the day, it kind of soothes them and they are relaxed and probably sleepy =) I know sometimes it keeps me up at night, but I dont mind it. Lastnight I felt what I am assuming are his feet or hands- because he has been head down for the past 2 weeks consecutively already. (of course I am almost at 7 months already!) I can't get enough of feeling him move =)

Re: Boy what a night!
This one a bedtime partier, which makes me get insomnia for a little bit (til midnight). And also loves the 4-5am jig too.

I got a waker-upper too. He always wants to party around 12am or so. But he settles down quickly.

Re: Boy what a night!
I love feeling the movement when I lay down to go to sleep. That is when I feel the most (or notice it the most!) and DH can spend some time feeling the baby too! It is so fun...wondering what kind of person is in there making all those squirmy movements!

Re: Boy what a night!
Hope no one thought I was complaining about the major movement episode. That was just the first really active night. I certainly love feeling the baby and usually just lay there and grin the whole time I feel her kicks and squirms.

Re: Boy what a night!
I feel Jacob all the time in the evenings and the pre-dawn hours. I love it and don't mind that he keeps me up sometimes! If I roll on my tummy by accident, it feels like there's a boxing match going on in there! He definitely lets me know he's not happy! LOL!

Re: Boy what a night!
My little girl is usually pretty calm in the evenings, she gets all wired whenever I eat. And on Friday she was really low in the pelvic area and hiccuping, and poking, and stretching, that was SOOOO uncomfortable! I wanted to be hung upside down by my ankles, I'd so prefer her in my ribs then my cervix, at least ribs I can stretch back and push down.

Re: Boy what a night!
Lynds, my baby likes to sit really low too...I feel it kick in my "crotch" so much! It is really weird. Sometimes I will lay down and push the baby up more into my abdomen just to get some relief!!!

Re: Boy what a night!
Yes, my boy likes to move at night, just like Kylie did, but I have always been able to sleep through it if I was tired enough, lol! It's the times when I am awake that I realize just how active he is at night.
And he loves to kick me in the crotch as well. Kylie liked to kick me in the ribs and the hip area and I thought that could be uncomfortable. The crotch kicking gives me such a weird sensation and is very uncomfortable. I will say that Kylie was laying right on my bladder by this point though (but kicking up high) and I was already at the peeing if I sneezed, laughed, breathed, stage at this point. I haven't had that problem yet but he is kicking me there so it's weird. I guess he isn't positioned to where he is sitting directly on my bladder yet like she was though, even if he is kicking it. His weight must not all be on it yet like hers was. It's funny how similar their activity level is but how different the way they kicked and positioned themselves is now.

I didn't think this at all either, Shannon!
My baby kicks my crotch all the time too! Last night DH and I were sitting on the couch and Jacob kicked my cervix so hard I felt a sharp pain. That was the worst yet! I yelled ouch so loud and DH panicked. I think he thought I was going into early labor or something.
