Birth announcements?
Anyone looked into or ordered any birth announcement cards for their little ones yet? I am looking around but I need quite a few and they can get pricey. Where are you getting yours (if you are, that is!) and did you get a good deal on any? I want to do it online if possible but I'm open to suggestions either way. Links are always appreciated! TIA!

Re: Birth announcements?
I've got 3 kids... a job, 2 houses, 2 cats, a dog... fish. Anyways, I made my announcement online and sent it out by email. Tacky? Maybe but I didn't have the time to order, make them or even mail them out. My husband and I don't even mail out our bills... we just do everything online- even order pizza! So I looked online, found one I liked and sort of used it as inspiration to make my virtual announcement.. then sent it out by email. No one complained but then again, I keep a website of my kids monthly photos and 2 blogs and always email out slideshows of the kids photos. No no expects a piece of paper from me except at Christmas for the Christmas card and newsletter.
Here's a small jpg of what I sent out...

Re: Birth announcements?
We'll either make our own or I may use a designer from Etsy (where I submit my own photos/pay for my own printing, but they put the design we choose together and send it to me). Can't wait to share our joy, but nothing overpriced here. Too many other things I'd rather put the money toward.

Lurking
We're probably going to have a professional photo shoot done by our friend, and then just burn them to a lightscribe CD with the "announcement" stuff lasered into the CD
