well after being hooked up on the monitor for over an hour (and yesterday for 2) my Ob said that he had hoped that his reading looked healthier. I have to go for a biophysical profile at 4:45pm today (the secretary called EVERYWHERE- my office plus 2 main hospitals to get me in earlier) with no luck. My OB also requested a wet read as well... I think that means he wants it read right away. I am still unclear as to whether I am supposed to go back up to OBGYN after my u/s or not, I guess I will see how my results turn out anyways. I asked my OB if this would decide if I deliver now or not, and he told me that if Ryann doesn't look happy where he is at, then he will not let me continue being pregnant.
I see it as this... 4 NST's, first two were iffy but accepted, second two he failed... I just really have a feeling that I might be having a baby soon. I mean what are the chances of him being sleepy EVERYTIME I have a NST? He is obviously still in whatever funk he was in from yesterday... two consecutive days of this, my feeling is that he needs to be born now.
My Bp there was 138/82.... my Bp right now being home is 175/119, and a repeat reading 5 minutes later of 189/121.... I will take it easy until my u/s and if it is still like this when I go back I will make sure I am seen. Maybe after putting all the elements together they just decide it's time....

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
I'm so glad today was with the good doc and he isn't taking chances. Praying that you both are either alright or they get you in today or tomorrow to deliver this little fellow. and lots of prayers for a safe outcome are being sent your way.
Im back, and I am still pregnant =) He scored 8 out of 8, but measured a week behind (at 35 weeks and I am 36) Not sure if that will alarm the dr as he has been measuring to the day all this time. He is estimated to weigh 5 lbs 14 oz. They were supposed to do a wet read and page my OB after. I havent gotten a call back from him yet, so I guess no news is good news =) I am thinking all is satisfactory for the time being. I go for another Ob appt on Thursday at 2:30pm =)
Glad Ryann was looking good at this point. I know you are kind of hoping to go ahead and deliver; but at least you have the reassurance that he is ok right now. Thanks for the update.
So glad everything seems good so far! I go for 2 NST a week and this baby is ALWAYS sleeping through both of them. I take a cold drink (water or juice) and a sugary snack and that seems to help. I always stay hooked up to the machine for much longer than necessary.
On a side note, Kate's growth started to decline a little bit when I was pregnant with her and they decided to induce me at 38 weeks. She weighed 5p13o at birth. I am sure they will keep an eye on the growth!
Thanks Kristina =) So is 38 weeks when your dd's growth declined or was it earlier than that? How far behind was she growing? Right now Ryann measured at 35 weeks and I am 36.... I know that's not a huge difference but when you look at every single u/s I have had, he has pretty much measured to my due date right to the day. I think one time he was ONE day behind, but thats all. I am curious to see whether I get a call tomorrow or not!!
I would think it is hard to tell at this point because they are so big and there isn't a ton of room- it could be the way he is positioned that makes it a week off. I know you are relieved that he scored well! I'm with Shannon though too- I know you are ready, but at least you have some reassurance. I don't think it will be long either though.

I'm glad to hear baby Ryann seems to be doing well so far. I know you're anxious for it all to be over and it will before you know it. I will keep you and Ryann in my thoughts and prayers.
