Presley Christine! I had mentioned it on the private board, but it's the name we are really comfortable with and have been calling her that now ever since we got the confirmation that she is a girl. MIL was on when we told her about it. The whole family seems to like the name. I've even added it to my siggy and to her ticker. Anyway, I just wanted to share it with everyone here. Thanks for all the input that has come in our brainstorming efforts.

Of course you know I like it since it was what made me remember the name Preston a couple weeks ago! I'm glad your family likes it too. Oh, but I could never get away with using Presley here. I live in Elvis Presley's birthplace and people would think I named the baby after him, lol!

We are going to my SIL's tomorrow where dh's entire family will be cooking out to celebrate FIL's b-day. We will be announcing this baby's name to them while there. I've already told most of my side of the family and they like it. Dh's side probably has never heard of the name so it may take some getting used to for them. My family makes the association with another Cohen we knew a long time ago so I knew they'd like it.

Thanks everybody! This afternoon Ava walked up to me - while I was talking to MIL on the phone - and blew a big raspberry on my tummy then pointed and said, "Baby Sister!" So although I don't think she really knows what that means, she is making the association from what we've been telling her. Before when we'd say it, she's shake her head, NO and say, "No Tummy!"

I'm lurking from DIMay...but I remember the trouble you were having with finding a name that fit well with your MIL's...and I just wanted to be yet another to add that I think you made a beautiful choice. The name flows beautifully and it's really cool that you never abandoned the idea of using your MIL's name since you knew how much it was going to mean to her.
