Hello girls! I am from BIM 07 and wanted to share Kristina's progress! I copied and pasted from our board (where she had her DD Kate with us.) I just thought you would like to know today is going to be Baby G's birthday it seems.
Woohoo! It's officially happening for sure!
Kristina called from her observation room just now. Matt is taking a nap, after being up all night working. Kristina is hooked up to the NST and is waiting on a room. When she gets there, they will be breaking her water.
She is:
90% effaced
-1 station
2 cm dilated
cxns every 4 mins
And here is the real news...........due to her lovenox shot she gave herself last night, as usual, she CAN'T HAVE AN EPIDURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If she ends up needing a C-section, she will have to be put under for the birth.
Pray for a successful VBAC and strong "you can do this naturally!" vibes for her!
Karen, Kristina says she keeps reminding herself that if you can do this 5 times without drugs, she can do this now. I think she is in pain and made sure to call me IN BETWEEN her contractions. Ouch.
Kristina is planning on having her mom bring Kate to the hospital late this afternoon. She wants her to be there and be one of the first to meet this baby, but it's so hard to guess when that moment will be and Kate can't really stay in the room this whole time.
I asked her if she gave Kate a hug and kiss this morning as her only child before she left, but Kate was still asleep. She doesn't even know she is getting a sibling today, hee hee.
Kristina says she will update again in a few hours!
(Matt did bring his laptop, but at the moment, it's in the car.)

That is so exciting. I know she can do it naturally, its really not that bad.
I feel the same way about wanting her daughter to be the first to meet baby.
I am excited and want it to work out also the same way with my daughter.
Maybe someone can call her sitter when she is starting the pushing phase and they can hurry there.
If I can go natural, ANYONE can. Im the biggest wuss ever.
Thank you for updating us.
BTW, dtto on someone calling mom when she is starting the pushing stage or is at 8-9cm.

Kristina I hope your labor goes smoothly and that baby is in the right position! I KNOW you can do a VBAC- especially since you are a Hypnobirth woman! ELV to you and good luck. Can't wait to hear an update!!!!
Thanks for the update, Stacy!

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
Oh wow this is all happening so fast! Soon we will all have our babies and not be pregnant anymore ENLV her way all day long (Easy Natural Labor Vibes)
Matt just called and said she is 3 cm and her water is still intact. An attempt to break it earlier didn't work! She is handling the pain ok, Matt says "she's a trooper." They are going to try and break it again soon. I am sure the contractions will start to get pretty painful at that point.
Keep thinking easy labor for her since she has to go natural!!!

Good luck, Kristina! I hope she can do it naturally. That being said, I was not able to do my c-section with an epidural either because it kept wearing off and I had to be put under (plus, it was borderline emergency and no time to try something like a spinal at that point). It honestly wasn't that bad so if it comes to that for her then she will be just fine. I hope it doesn't come to that though! I can't wait to hear the update of when the little one arrives!
