baby name stealers

Has anyone dealt with this within your or DH's social circle? I know it's bound to happen, since my DH's fire department is having a huge baby boom with 8 due after us so far, but when I found out today that another couple is planning on using Lyla if they have a girl, I got so annoyed!!

I've liked the name since I was little & nicknamed a Delilah doll "Lilah" & I've never met anyone with the name. Now other people we know want to use it! I want to smack them!! haha
