I had my babies weights measured at 28 weeks and they measured 2.13lbs, and 2.9lbs ( twins) Im 30 weeks now and have another dr about on May 27th to do their weights again. does anyone know what you baby weight at this stage??
12/3 3rd u/s 7 weeks 4 days, and both babies measured the same..yippee!!!
12/10 u/s 8 weeks 4 days, both babies measured and same size ( h/Bs at 175 and 181)
12/20 u/s 10 weeks ..babies doing great!!!
1/17/08--- IT’S A BOY AND A GIRL!!!
C-section set for June 27th!!! ( if the babies can wait that long)
Well I do know that at 32w whatever they estimate the baby(s) to weigh, you double that and get their 40w weight
Zailee weighed about 4.5-5lb at 32w but she is Large! so they moved up my EDD and so that weight now applies to 33w instead LOL.
My OBGYN said I didn't need a 3rd trimester ultrasound since I'm having a C-sec so I don't know what the weight is now. I am HUGE though and she estimates the baby will be over 9lbs at birth!!!! OMG!!!! Katie was 8lbs11oz so 9lbs isn't a stretch I guess. We make BIG babies!
I had an u/s 2 weeks ago to check for growth and my baby was estimated to be 4lbs 3oz. I was 31w 3d at the time.

Are you serious? I have a feeling my little boy is going to be big. Ugh. I'm scared! Hopefully he'll come a little early, but not earlier than 37 weeks!
That's a scary thought, Carman. Presley's estimated weight on Tuesday was 5# 3 oz and that would mean she would be over 10 pounds. My doc told me once I got this estimate (32 weeks) I could add 1/2 pound per week; which I would still have 6 weeks (3 pounds) so a little over 8 pounds. I hope he's right and your calculating info isn't. LOL
At 32 weeks (on the dot) Cohen was measuring 4 lbs and 10 oz and was about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. My dr. said it is entirely possible that he will be even bigger than his big sister was and she was 9 lbs 7 oz at birth. She said he could be 10 lbs or he could be smaller. It is more a wait and see type situation now. They are taking him 9 days early by c-section and I am really glad!
Oh, the OB did mention that because I have a history of having big babies that there is the likelihood of that happening this time too. I don't think that she would automatically assume he might be close to 10 lbs if I had a history of smaller babies.
Yeah, I can see if you have a history of your babies being larger that the doubling calculation might be accurate. In my case my babies have been 6# 2oz, 7# 13oz, & 7# 10oz. So a 10+ pounder for me would be a shock!
Yeah, with your history, I'm thinking Presley will not be over 8 lbs something at the most and maybe not even that big. I wouldn't worry too much anyway.
I had an u/s on Wednesday at 32 weeks 5 days and she was 4lb 4oz....which I think is right around the 50th%. I was so happy to hear that because a month ago she was at the 19th%...they didn't give me a weight that time though.

At my 33 week u/s he estimated this one at 4 lbs 1 oz and said that is small- but if I double that, that is over 8 lbs...because I usually go to about 40 weeks. I would really prefer a smaller 7 lb or so baby! HAHA In fact- he put the date to June 22nd! LOL Fine- he can think the due date is further because that means I have less chance of being induced if he goes by that calculation...which is WRONG. I know when everything happened as far as LMP and June 12th is 40 weeks from LMP. I don't know the exact conception date- who does, unless you are in vitro? But I have a pretty good idea of the day(s) it could have happened lol
When I was pregnant with my 3rd I had a 37 week u/s and he estimated him at about 6 lbs give or take a lb. Well 3 weeks later I delivered naturally a 8 lb 15 oz baby. How did he go from 6 to 9 in 3 weeks???? I didn't gain anything in the last few weeks! LOL I think he was closer to 7 and the accuracy of the u/s is not very good! LOL
So I am 35 weeks, and at 33 weeks the baby "measured" and estimated 4 lbs 1 oz.

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.
How did he go from 6 to 9 in 3 weeks???? I didn't gain anything in the last few weeks! LOL I think he was closer to 7 and the accuracy of the u/s is not very good! LOL
Bingo! I've been told I was having a HUGE baby...and within a couple of days he was born at 7lbs, 15oz. It turns out I had a lot of amniotic fluid. I don't put much stock in "baby weights" and u/s...especially the later ones. Unless something would warrant it, my last u/s was a quickie one at my OB visit at 24wks. I decided to stick with my midwife-only from that point on.

Maybe - since we're in the same boat, I thought this may help you too.
My girl, who's always smaller, weighed in at 2lbs 13oz and our boy weighed in at 3lbs 10oz. Our visit was mid-way in our 28-29th week. I was told my girl was right on schedule and my boy was about 10-15 days ahead.
Hope this helps!

At my 30 week appointment she was estimated to weigh 3lbs 7 ounces, my friend studying ultrasound tech said she should be around 7 1/2-8lbs at birth. She has a chart with the weeks of gestation and their percentage and what they estimate the baby to be if it continues on growth track at the time of birth. I'm excited to see how big this baby is, I'm hoping for the 7lb range.
Hey maybe - I KNOW...these little stinkers are starting to get heavy! : ) But I wouldn't trade it in for the world.
And yes, we finally got a date...June 19th we have a scheduled c-section. My doc leaves for his vacation to Spain that evening (must be nice) so we'll be there bright and early for their debut.
If I don't see you on here before then...good luck and congrats!!!!
