Appt update
I had a perinatology appt today. Baby is weighing in at around 4p5o and is in the 41st percentile - which is great. Hopefully he or she won't start to slow down like Kate did. The perinatologist I saw today is the first one that seemed to be on board with a VBAC which is great. (The new doc is the one who keeps pushing for the repeat c/s).
I don't have much time to be on right now. I did my NST this morning and they called me about an hour ago and want me to go back in. Apparently the baby's heart rate hit a little too low at points. It seems that when the baby was the most active the heart rate was in the 170s and when the baby wasn't moving much it was in the 115s. Toomuch of a variance and they are anxiously waiting for me to go back in and hop on the monitor. My mom just came over to watch Kate so I can go back (I was supposed to clean when she came over!). I am a bit nervous because at the time I noticed what a difference in range the heartrate was. Hopefully I will be back home soon.
I'll get Matt to scan in the u/s pics later...

Re: Appt update
Hope the NST goes well with no BIG varience. Good luck and best wishes.
Sounds like the baby is doing well otherwise and the go ahead with the VBAC for that peri is on. Forget the new doc. Don't let anyone push you into something you don't want to do. You already know the what-if's and the probable possibilities. Just follow your heart.

Re: Appt update
Be sure the monitor isn't picking up your HB instead of baby's. I had that issue last time. Hope everything goes well!!!

Re: Appt update
I am home. Apparently this baby's heartrate is just more sporadic than Kate's was. At times it was still in the 120s and at times it was in the 160s. It mostly in the 150s range, which was right where Kate's NSTs were. They don't seem to be too concerned today but said we need to keep a close eye on the heartrate from now on and I HAVE to do kick counts once a day.
I am now going to clean! Nothing like feeling you might not be coming back home for a few days to light a fire under your butt!

Re: Appt update
when I was in the hopsital Ryann had a few times where his heart rate dipped like that too... the nurse brought it up to my dr and he said that that was just the typical 29 week baby (whatever that means!!) and he wasnt concerned. So I am assuming it is pretty common for babies to do that sort of thing... I am glad that they arent concerned for you too at this point!!

Re: Appt update
Yep I am praying you have a successful VBAC! I am glad also that the baby seems fine and all! It sounds like it could have just been weird readings on the NST.

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 5 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and dark hair.

Re: Appt update
I really hope that you're able to have your VBAC! I'm so glad the heartrate "issue" wasn't really an issue after all!!
