That is how big (well, estimated) Vinnie was today at my ultrasound.

He jumped from just below the 50th %tile (last month) to between 50th-70th. I knew he was getting bigger as I certainly am.

He is head down. (Good boy!)

She asked how big Emily was at delivery and I said 6 lbs 11 ozs and she said, "Oh! I am thinking he will be bigger!". (Which everyone that I tell that to is really excited about, but I keep remembering that he has to come out!)

BP, urine, etc all fine. She is not worried about the flashing light thing that has been happening about once per week - as it isn't happening very often and I have no other warning signs of toxemia. Just call if it happens more frequently.

I go back in 2 week and then start weekly visits that will include non-stress tests.

Also keep in mind that measurements can be off- I have a friend on another board who said a coworker's wife (I know- friend of a friend of...) lol who was 37 weeks pregnant was going in to be induced I think, because the u/s said her baby was going to be over 10 lbs! The baby ended up being 8 lbs 6 or 7 oz! Certainly not 10!

On the other side- the u/s I had at 37 weeks with Breylan- he said he weighed about 6 pounds give or take a pound. Ok....I had him at almost 40 weeks to the day- he was 8 lbs 15 oz. So he was alot bigger than I expected LOL. It actually wasn't that bad though. Now, 10 lbs to me is BIG but I know people who have delivered vag. with babies that big. OUCH. But still..I would rather not have the surgery! HAHAHA So what if my butt hurts!

Wow, big boy! Mine measured about that at our 3D ultrasound last week (at 31 weeks) and I was told it was about 1 or 2 weeks ahead. Not a shock cause I have big babies, but if you do the math, they gain about a pound a week, right? so I have 9 weeks left, 4 plus 9 is 13 - YIKES! That has to be wrong....

I was thinking they gain up to 1/2 pound a week. YIKES if its a whole pound!
