I am getting very excited but also really nervous for our 3D tomorrow. I am always afraid they will find something wrong - cleft palate or something else overlooked at the 20 week ultrasound. Me and my husband both are really nervous about them accidentally showing us the gender too! We have come this far and not knowing is really so motivating for me towards the end of the pregnancy, especially when I am pushing, LOL. But anyway, I can't wait to sneak a peak at this little one and see what the heck he/she is doing in there all the time that is keeping me up at night!

How exciting! Hope you get some good pics that you can share with us. Mine is on Thursday and I'm just pacing for the time to come. I hope your little one cooperates and you get some good pics of his/her face. That is what I'm so waiting for - to see how much Presley looks or doesn't look like Ava.

Can't wait to hear all about it. I'm sure you won't have any unpleasant surprises. Just have faith that if there were anything like that to find, they would have found it already.

Will you be drinking juice or anything special before your appt? I'm debating on that for mine, because at my 20 week u/s, I had some V8 Fusion that morning and Presley was so active they couldn't get good shots. So I'm kind of afraid to drink anything sweet like that.

No peaking Higher temptations are with a 3D since things are more clearer and natural looking.

I was instructed specifically to eat 1.5 hours before and to have 2 glasses of juice 45 minutes before. They told me that when I made the appt and then called me today again to remind me. So they must really mean it, LOL.
I know, the 3D is SO clear, if they even graze down by that area I will know exactly what I see or don't see.....can't say I've ever seen a girl baby's "parts" but I am more than familliar with how a boy looks thanks to my youngest who showed them off at every opportunity during his 3D.

We're having our 3D scan today and we are very excited. We didn't have one with our first, so this is a first for us. Big sister Hannah is coming along as well. We already know its a girl, and the OB has already checked for cleft etc, so this is really for fun and to see what Emily looks like.

The ultrasound went well today, the baby is really gorgeous! Hate to say this, but cuter than my other two She had a bit of trouble getting a really great picture because the cord was in front of his/her face but she managed to get a few. It was exciting, I had a really rough morning and was pretty upset by the time of the appointment so it was by far not as happy an occasion as I thought it would be but it was nice to see our perfect little one. Sorry you caught a glimpse of the baby's gender. Or was is an actual stop on the private parts during the u/s? Did your DH see too or just you? If he didn't see, then at least it could still be a surprise for him and you could share in that.

Glad you were able to get some pics that you were happy with. I know what you mean about it being hard to get a good shot sometimes. With Ava, she kept one or both hands up in her face almost the entire time. I'm hoping we have better luck with this one.

Will you be able to post any of your pics from today? I'd love to see your little one. I'll bet s/he is precious!

So happy to hear the baby is doing well and is healthy and perfect as can be. Don't feel bad about seeing the gender. I would think 3D's would be hard to aviod in that area because of the clearness of everything and such. Slip up seems like a high possibility.

Ya she was showing us the feet and I clearly saw a little penis.......but its what I expected really. My husband didn't see it but I told him, he is in denial, LOL. Its all good, I'm not surprised but now we really do have to work on boys names cause we have a few we love but haven't quite figured out middle name combos etc.

No I kept my mouth shut because my parents and my kids were there! I told my husband later. I'm not mentioning it again to him and won't say anything to my parents. As far as everyone knows its still a surprise. I'm not even going to officially mention it here on the forum, people who read this will obviously see it and that is fine but I'm not going to do a separate post for it. Obviously I could be wrong, which is why I didn't want to confirm it with the tech, but I am pretty confident I know what I saw, it was very clear. I'm not sure how it could have been the cord but anything is possible.
