Today's appt was great, I am now at 3.5 cms I just love making progress even though I know it really doesn't mean anything. I had some good contractions at the gym after the appt but I'm sure it was just cause she was a little rough (I bled). I do hate this cycle though - I get excited from the appt then disappointed a few days later when nothing at all has happened. I should learn my lesson but I never do!!!!

Wow- you could have the baby anytime! 3.5 cms is pretty good. Keep walking! Ha! If you want to get things going you and dh could DTD!

3.5 cm is great news! I just read in a book last night that 4 cm is considered the beginnings of labor/ active labor. Is it always the same doctor who measures you? Last pregnancy, I had the NP check and her measurements were always smaller than the OBs. I loved leaving knowing I was actually more dilated than she told me! Hopefully the rest of dilation will go quickly for you.
Ya, we are DTD every night or actually now every other night cause I started to get sore But once I hit 4 cms, I am usually in turbo mode so hopefully it won't be too much longer. The contractions I was having completely stopped once I got home from the gym But my son is going on a playdate soon so then I will pace around the house to see if something starts up. I'm absolutely positively starving so I feel like baby dropped even more. I haven't been this hungry in months.

Oh, it is the same dr who always measures me, I made sure this time cause last time I had to endure an argument between a diff doctor and a diff nurse that had never measured me before and they kept going back and forth - checking, arguing, checking again, etc. I felt like a piece of meat So this time, only one dr.
Glad to hear you had a great appt. Yay for being at 3.5 cms! Hopefully it won't be much longer for you now! Hopefully all that dtd will help things along.
