Icon10 For You Creative Ladies....Any Ideas???

We're planning on painting the baby's room this weekend and I'm looking for any other ideas or suggestions with what I could do to make her room a little more unique!

Here's the crib set we bought and we plan on painting the walls the sage green color shown. But I'm totally willing to take any and all suggestions! Thanks

!

I would add either an accent wall and pick a contrasting color or do a texture treatment on it OR pick a secondary color and put a strip effect through out the room. I think it would add a different feeling to the room. Plus it would be fun to do if you are up to it.

And you could go bold with the color accents or moderate as you have lots to choose from I personally would go bold….heheh

yeah that is a nice set. I think I would go a bit bolder too.... but dh would never let me. HE IS DRABBIE! lol I still have the white wash on all our walls that the house came with when we bought it. But I may have him paint the babies room.

I've seen really cool "country" stars - big ones that seem to be the same color red as in the bedding that would really be cool since the mobile is stars. I don't remember the magazine but I'm sure you could google them.

Depending on your budget, how about some wainscotting and a really nice chair rail done in a really pretty cream? And then on top glazing vertical stripes...so matte stripe...glossy stripe.

I don't know...I got nothing else LOL

If you can afford it..check out beadbord. You could put white beadboard and chair rail the them paint the top sage... That would look awesome!

I really like the chairrail idea. I think it would look sharp!! Adorable bedding set you've picked out!

I think a texture treatment on the walls would look really nice with the bedding. I also like Jen's idea of the wainscotting. I have it in my room and it really helped to jazz it up a bit. Can't wait to see what you decide!

Thanks for all the ideas! You guys have really helped me think of some other possibilities! I think the wainscoting would look super cute, but I'm worried it'll be too expensive! I haven't decided on anything for sure yet...we're going to price stuff first, but I'll let ya'll know what we decide!

I'm so excited!
