Default Who bought a Ruby Toots sling?

I remember the post but can't remember who posted about it. I was just wondering how you like it and if you're using it(if baby has been born). I'm really wanting to get a sling especially for walks this summer.
TIA!

I recall that Brandi got one and she loved it. I'm sure she will chime in on this thread. I booked marked the sight with intentions of going back to it. Well, since I've got nothing else better to do than wait on Kohen to arrived maybe I will check them out again and order one today:-)

..wow I havent' been here in a while!!!

Oh I'm so glad you mentioned this...I bought one and H-A-T-E it!!!!!! Its soooooo not the same as a peanut shell or hotsling. The pocket part where the baby sits is NO WIDER than the rest of the sling...Azahria is TINY and it doesn't cover her properly...azlan used to completely disappear in my peanutshell and he loved it. This is awful...sorry...I do NOT recommend it. Sometimes you are better buying the name that guarantees quality...ugh...I used my sling non stop w/ azlan til he was 7mths old...this time I've tried it 2x and HATE it...

Oh Janice, I'm so sorry to hear that. I bought one a long time ago, but obviously haven't used it yet b/c baby's not here yet. I hope there is some possibility that it works for me. I'll let everyone know when the baby gets here.

Oh no!! I ordered a sling from ruby toots, (it has not come yet) but I hope I like it!! I ordered this one becuase I hated the one I got from bru, it was a Boppy brand pocket sling, not like a close to the body one, but I will let you all know how I like mine when I get it, and hey I am only out 20 bucks if I don't like it!!

hmmm.... not good, I have one too. Although, I bought a peanut shell and hated that it covered my baby so much, so maybe I'll like this one? I guess I'll find out when my baby comes--you know--a bazillion years from now

Oh no! I'm sorry you don't like yours Janice. I looked into them, but decided to go with a Hotsling. I couldn't find enough reviews on the Ruby Toots, but found tons of positive reviews on the Hotsling.

I have one and I actually really like mine! I've used it a ton already and find it very convenient. I looked at the Hotsling first at Target and then ordered the Ruby Toots. Aspen seems to really like it as well. It covers her all the way too. It's not a sling I plan on using for more than a few months though because I have another sling for once she gets bigger. So I don't know about recommending it for bigger babies or toddlers. I just got it for the itty bitty infant stage. And it's doing great so far for me! Sorry you didn't like yours Janice! That stinks!

If you are looking at different type of carrier, I just ordered this one and it has lots of great reviews. It's called the Beco Butterfly Carrier. It's a bit pricey, but I can start using it now and it goes to like 35 lbs. So should last a while.
