Default What a morning!

I had my 39 week appointment today. My midwife started to check me and she goes, "Looks like your a one, one and a half...wait...your a two...maybe even a three". What?!?! I was so not expecting that. Last week I was nothing and now I'm a 3!!! I was so shocked. She warned me that I could have some cramping and some bleeding. I've had lots of cramping and TMI comin' atcha....I've had tons of bleeding. It's quite uncomfortable. She's having me go in tonight for a NST since I have noticed a slight decrease in movement. So I'll have to let you all know how that goes.

My midwife thinks I'll be having this baby by the end of the week. I was really hoping to hold out until next Monday, which is my mom's birthday. My mom said that as long as the baby is a Gemini then that doesn't matter. So I'm going to try to hold out (and here is where I snort, because really, how much can I do to "hold out") for Monday, if not that long, then at least Thursday. Wish me luck!

Ugh! That is what I want to know. It stopped for a little bit last night, but now it's back. I thought it could be bloody show, but then again I was also warned that this is normal and doesn't exactly mean anything. So I'm just waiting for some kind of sign (i.e. meaning my water breaking) to know that I'm in labor. Otherwise, I won't be convinced.
