Default What is this?

For the past 2 days, I've been feeling "cramps" but not like AF cramps, off and on. It feels kind of like the cramps you get in your side when you're running and overdo it. But, these cramps seem to appear on my side, on the bottom of my belly, or anywhere they want. There is no regularity to them, so I haven't really been concerned or thought much of them, but since they keep appearing, I'm starting to wonder what they are. I've been getting BHs since 20 weeks, which just feel like my stomach is tightening up, no pain whatsoever. Could this be my BHs getting stronger? Or is this something else? Anyone felt this?

Is your belly tightening with them? If not I'd be inclined to say it's round ligament pains. No fun at all.

I'd say that too...or a pulled muscle or spasm...I had that this morning on my side down to my hip bone. Not fun!

I get a pain that sounds really similar to that on one side of my stomach. My midwife said it was my stomach muscles seperating. Maybe that's what you have? Hope you find some relief soon!

THATS exactly what i went to the hospital for! you described it well i was thinking round ligament pain, but i noticed that along with BH it did kinda present itself as a "contraction" and it generated to my thighs as well so i went in....i also wanted to say that i felt like if I(TMI TMI TMI TMI) could just goto the RR it might aleviate some of that so i took some MOM and went and it worked sorta....i thought perhaps my bowels were full? and the BH was making pain worse?....i mean i still have pain on my right side if i press it but not when im just sitting there getting a BH and the the BH pressure mixd with full bowels and no room thanks to baby lol. i mean i feel for you girl....

Hmm...none of those things really seem to fit. It's not really sharp and not nearly as painful as round ligament pain (already had the joy of experiencing that!), it's not persistent like I would expect a pulled muscle to be, and it doesn't hurt to touch It just feels like a sore muscle that hurts for maybe 30 seconds and then stops. That's why I thought it might be stronger BHs, but I think I need to pay more attention the next time it happens to see whether my belly is tightening or not.
