Hello! Well, the induction was quite a success....baby was born a little over 2 hours after it started, and that is with the nurse stopping the pitocin twice - once so I could get my epidural, and second so I could wait at 10 cms for 15 mins while my dr came back from whatever important errand she was out running Two pushes and out came baby!!! I am thrilled to announce that we have a brand new baby GIRL!! Amanda Marie, born on 5/18 at 11:33 am, she was 8 lbs 4 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She looks like both of her brothers and she's just a love muffin, we adore her! The first thing I did when I got home from the hospital is go shopping for pink stuff, I feel like I have waited a lifetime to do it and it was so much fun
Anyway, we just got home and are getting settled so I will try to post pics later (plus I want to see what I missed while I was gone - hospital only had dial-up so logging on to she knows was basically not happening). Hope everyone is doing well and that the full moon brought some new babies!

I'm peeking in (I'm part of the due in October boards). I'm curious...why did they induce you at 38 weeks?

Congratulations!! Enjoy shopping for all things pink!! I love the name too...my niece has the same name(first and middle) and was born on the same day..just back in 2000. I hope you're doing well and everyone is adjusting nicely! Glad it all worked out!
