I am so upset! My DH has just worked 8 12 hour days in a row and is about to get 3 days off starting Monday. I was so looking forward to spending time w/him, plus we were going to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday. And, I am really, really needing a break from my sweet but sassy almost 3-year-old. I am totally EXHAUSTED!! So he called me from work today and told me he feels like he is getting a bad cold or the flu today. I know this is completely selfish but I can't believe that on his only days off he is now going to be sick. Ugghhhh....one more person to take care of.

Of course, I feel bad for him too. He has to be completely worn out (probably why he got sick), but it is just such crappy timing. I'm all bummed out now. Hope everyone else is having a better weekend than I am so far. Thanks for letting me get that out!

Big hugs to you momma. I can understand how you feel. After Titus was born I got really sick and dh deployed 8 days after he was born. I was so angry with him even though it wasnt his fault. Hang in there. I hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry he's sick. My hubby recently had surgery and what we did was hire some extra help in the afternoons and we laid in the bed together, ate delivered food and watched dvds and hugged. It was nice even though we were at home.
