Nothing fancy and very small. But I think we would be very happy there! It has about 25 rooms total. 2 Birthing rooms, 1 recovery room, 1 regular post partum room and 1 family post partum room. The family post partum room we couldn't see because a family was using it. But it has a queen size regular bed!

Lets see, they strongly encourage breastfeeding, strongly encourage baby being with Mama as much as possible AND they don't mind families there! In fact they strongly encourage families sticking together. So if I am up to the family room, Gabrielle can spend the day with us (we are thinking my ILs would bring her down in the morning. I can cath her in the morning, noon and evening and then Bruce can take her back home. She could spend the night if we wanted her to).

So now its if I like the Doctors, then it will be a go.

The family room sounds cool. When we lived in Fl they encourage families staying together. Carson and Isaac got restless and wanted to go home to play with their new toys. Who could blame them it was Christmas day. I have no idea what the hospiatal policy here is but I have no choice anyway so I guess it doesnt really matter..

I am so glad that you liked it -- you've had enough issues w/your physician's as it is. How awesome that they encourage the family time and the breastfeeding/baby w/you the whole time. Sounds like you've found your hospital...

Dr. Jackson is against a VBAC for me. I am thinking the OB I see will also be against it.

My other concern is this Fibroid I have in my uterus. Can it rupture during labor? I just don't know yet.
