updates on us

Since being home with Zailee, things have been super bussy (as you can immagine with 3 toddlers and a NB)
The girls LOVE her and are so interested in making sure she is ok and that she is well taken care of in any way, they help out a lot with getting diapers, wipes, and making sure mommy has enough water while nursing LOL

They have been really good.
Xander, at first he would take a quick peek at Zailee and then walk away and that was the end of it, then Dh was holding her and my sis was holding Xander and Zailee started to squeek and it scared Xander, he started crying and trying to get away from her, I was laughing but trying really hard not too, it was funny though. We showed him that she was ok and let him touch the top of her head and now he pets her like a puppy LOL, he has gotten super clingy, he always wants something from me as soon as I am nursing or changing Zailee's diaper, he isn't being mean to her as of now but he is showing that he is jealous that she is taking a lot of my time that used to be spent on Xander but I do spend as much time as I can one on one with each of my kids.

Zailee is doing well, the pic in my siggy is the discharge weight from the hospital and her bili that day was 11, Tues she was 5lb 3oz and her bili was 13, today she was 5lb 6oz and I don't know what her bili was but the dr said it was resolved and we didn't need the bili lights any more and she is now off the oxygen too!!! YAY!!!! However she is still only 16.5in long LOL my shorty! She is starting to get thrush (owie!!) but it is just starting and we were given a rx for it so hopefuly we can get that out of the way before it starts to hurt. She also lost her cord today! I am so happy with her! I finally feel complete, a feeling I didn't have after the other kids, I always knew there would be more but this time I feel complete ♥

Glad the bili issue is resolved, and she is off the O2 too. That is awesome. I understand how it is with toddlers in the house with a new baby. They keep you on your toes for sure.

Glad everything is going so well and that Zailee is doing so great. Hope the thrust clears up soon. So glad the other kiddos are helping out. I also hear ya on the toddler thing...Kensley has just realized that she is not the baby anymore and we are having some challenges. She is totally giving me the cold shoulder and I just hate it. I'm sure my hormones are making it more of a big deal, but it just breaks my heart. I know she will adjust and things will get better.
