so yesterday morning I had my normal ob appt with my doc who I haven' seen in a few wks. He stripped my membranes hoping I'd be in last night as he's on call til 1pm today. nothing. Had one hard ctx in the office nothing after that. oh well...he set up an appt for mond morning for me b/c he's on call monday again.

Last night at 9 or so contrax started...they were pretty frequent I was not timing them but I'd guess at 6min apart or so. Not super strong but the strongest I had had yet in this pgcy. I laid down for a while then went and showered...then went to bed. I have NEVER ever been woken by contrax before...I've gone to bed in early labor and woke in the morning still in labor so went in but never woke with contrax...til tonight. OUCH. So finally at 4:30am I gave in and got the laptop and starting timing them with that contraction timer...I've been timing about 1.5hrs now...and I'm ONLY timing the ones that I can hardly breathe through. there are weaker ones in between but I'm only timing INTENSE contractions. They have been 7-9 minutes apart and last on average for 1min 30 seconds. I'm now up on the couch as I can't sleep so I'll keep timing them while everyone else snoozes At least my doc is on til 1.

I'm really trying to stay home as long as possible b/c I desperately want to go in there at 5-6cm...so it feels like things really start happening quickly for me.
