I have some photos and videos to share... the photos I can handle... the videos.. well, it's on a DVD, but I can't figure out how to a)make a copy on my hard drive b)copy it to another DVD and c) cut certain clips out then post them.

Can anyone help? TIA!

EEKs. Out of 4 boards I asked for help on, no one knows! LOL I did finally use Nero to burn copies of the DVDs. I still want to figure out how to get the clip of him yawning posted.

This sounds really complicated but it's not too bad, lol.

To get it on your hard drive you need a Decoder; that'll save it to your hard drive.

If you download Clone Mobile DVD, you can break it down into separate chapters. There's a little box somewhere that says something like 'Separate Chapters' or something similar.

And then to get just the right clip you need some sort of editing program. If you have Windows your PC came with Windows Movie Maker. You can use it to cut it own to just the right part.

I got the pictures thing worked out, I copy them from my shutterfly account (right click on the picture) and THEN can paste into the post. Haven't tried video anything, sorry

I was just reading some posts while DH made breakfast and he said you can try using "Windows Movie Maker".....windows XP comes with it and it should allow you to do everything you want. As for posting....you will need to find a hosting site like utube or file front and then post a link to the location. We are not 100% sure about what hosting is easier to use....good luck
