Re: Swaddle blankets
I've heard wonderful things about The Miracle Blanket, but I've never used one. Andrew didn't stay swaddled too long, but may try it this time around.

Re: Swaddle blankets
The next thing in swaddling seems to be cotton muslin swaddling blankets. I bought a set from Luna Lullaby after I saw Isla Fisher using them on a celebrity blog site. I LOVE these blankets...they are big enough to swaddle and are light enough to prevent over-heating of my little angel Oh and the prints are cute too...

Re: Swaddle blankets
Miracle Blanket all the way!!! They are the best! My daughter stayed in hers for 6-7 months, there is nothing on the market that works as well, I have converted all of my friends to it!

Re: Swaddle blankets
Thanks for the suggestion on the miracle blanket. I just ordered one! Seems a little rough keeping the arms down, but that was a problem with DS, so hopefully this works for us this time around!

Re: Swaddle blankets
Cool, I will have to remember the miracle blanket just in case I have a swaddler this time around. DS nor DD wanted to be swaddled. Thanks for the input.

Re: Swaddle blankets
I have heard great things about the miracle blanket and plan on ordering one. Looks a little cruel tucking the arms in like that but Im sure thats why they work!!!

Re: Swaddle blankets
Angie, I just read about those blankets in "American Baby" magazine. They look cool. I tried the miracle blanket w/dd, but she hated being swaddled. ALL of my other friends used them and loved them though. Almost everyone I know raved about the MB's.

Re: Swaddle blankets
The biggest thing is, you have got to swaddle them from day one, and you have to do it tightly! When people say their baby hated being swaddled, I get that because my son would fight it until I actually got him really swaddled well, at chich point he would get all dazed and confused (this was before we had the MB.) Anyway, the hospital blnakets work pretty well for a few weeks but you've gotta switch to the MB once they are moving their arms and legs more forcefully. It is funny to see how their arms get tightened down, but that's what they love about it, being totally secure! There is nothing better than a tightly swaddled baby, IMO!
