Okay, the obvious is getting an outfit and/or sleeper for the baby and a few baby things...but I'm trying to think of getting something for Shauna herself as well. Being that she's on bedrest in a hospital..(not very fun), what would be good gift for her?

How about some magazines like parents, puzzle books and some good smelling lotion, body spray and bubble bath.

I was thinking about that too....Some magazines and game type books would be nice and then maybe a sm bath set or something. Its so hard...hmmmm.....maybe a small amount of candy / chocolate.

I am really not sure other wise.

Maybe gift cards? I don't know what kind of places are in her area. You could just do a couple small ones. Like if she lived in my town, I'd get her, $5 Starbucks, $5 In'n'out, $10 movie theatre and so on. I think magazines are a good idea. Books are a bit harder since we don't really know what kind of books interest her. The parenting magazine was a good suggestion. Maybe a little manicure/pedicure kit or facial stuff?

gift cards are very nice, but might be promblematic if she's on bedrest. she'll have a hard time getting out to use them...and a lot less time once the baby comes.

No, she's about 6 hours away... What about just putting in a magazine and a gift card(Tim Horton's could be used anytime...I'd send my dh for a Timmy's run if I was on bedrest!)? The gift baskets are nice, but out of the price range.
