Sorry - Been MIA

Hi Ladies:

I have been going crazy trying to get a last minute request from our immigration attorney done this week. (MAN why oh why do they wait till the last min to ask for stuff...grrrr

) I have to say I have to been so stressed and it’s been a HORRIBLE week but we got through it and did pretty well with our task. We had to get ppl that wrote affidavits to write addendums detailing my pregnancy and my DH's stroke as they were two huge life changing events that had happened since the affidavits were written.

I tell ya they had since October to request this of us and not only that but I asked them so many times if they needed anything else from us or our family and friends and they kept telling me no. But at this stage not much we can do other then our best to get as many as we can in. I just pray it will help our case

OH and they did not tell me till new years eve and they wanted them notarized and in there office by today.....YA RIGHT.....well we go 8ppl out of 11 to do them and 5 our of 8 notarized. Some arrived at there office today and the other will be there Monday so needless to say it’s been crazy stressful.

I am back online again till I fly out to go for my interview....then I will be gone for a week.

I hope all is well with everyone and I will try to catch up. HAPPY be-lated new year!!!! I hope everyone had fun.

Welcome back. I hope you get through all this soon. Ben has several friends from Africa, they are constantly going through this crap, and jumping through all the hoops.

Thanks.....it truly is crazy!!! The one good thing is we do have a very strong case and after the 17th its all over for us....then we wait on a decision....hopefully before the baby is born and hopefully I will be able to FINALY go home. This April will be 2 year that my DH and I have lived apart.....let me tell you its getting extremely OLD!!!

I'm sorry it's so stressful....I hope that things continue to progress as quickly as they have the past few weeks and that you are able to come home and be with your DH for good!
